ごあいさつ

　　ご縁がありまして、「ミュー自然美術館」のご厚意により、治部坂高原で拙作写真展を開催する運びとなりました｡素朴で温もりのある信州の大自然に抱かれたご当地で写真展が開催できますことを心よりお礼申し上げます｡

　　出展作品は、特に長野県内を中心にして、なつかしい信州の山岳、高原の春秋、輝く太陽の光と影を主役とした個性的で幻想的な作品を選びました｡これらの作品は、いずれも21世紀に残したい20世紀の原風景をテーマにしています｡大自然の美と力、心の琴線に触れる生命の営為と神秘、これらのものが伝える感動を皆様と共に分かち合うことができれば幸甚に存じます｡

　　折しも、愛知県では2005年万博の開催が決定し、県民の叡智を結集して「森の万博」を成功させ、国際交流のかけ橋にしようという気運が高まっています｡大自然に宿る美と力は、時代がどのように移り変わっても、日本人が回帰すべき心の原風景として末永く後世に伝えたいものです｡

　　最後になりましたが、本展開催にあたり、写友の成田友宏、安代様ご夫妻には格別のご協力とご支援を賜りました｡厚くお礼申し上げます｡

The World of Nature
―　Life, Coexistence and Brilliancy　―


Greeting

　　　It is a great pleasure for me to be able to hold the exhibition of my selected photographs here at Jibuzaka Heights. First of all, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to the μ Museum of Natural Art for your kindness. I am deeply greatful that I have been given an opportunity to exhibit my works in the Museum which is entirely surrounded by simple and hearty Mother Nature of Shinshu.
　　　My works exhibited here are centered on Nagano prefecture.They are mostly composed of sweet and dear mountains of Shinshu, spring and autumn in the Heights and light and shadow of the gleaming sun. I believe they are the primary landscape of the 20th century and that they should be preserved and handed over to the generation of the 21st century. I should be very happy if I could share with you the same exciting emotions that I felt toward the beauty and strength of Mother Nature and the working of mysterious Life which really touch the strings of our deep hearts.
　　　Timely the 2005 world Fair will be held in Aichi prefecture. One of its themes is said to be the coexistence with Nature. Beauty and strength inherent in Nature, no matter what change the times may undergo, will be forever inherited to the coming age as the primary landscape of mind that Japanese should finally return to.
　　　Lastly I would like to express my thanks to my dearest photographer Tomohiro Narita and his wife Yasuyo for their special cooperation and support.
